I am proud to be an American
and was born in Greenville. |
When I heard about the
terrorist attack on our homeland and saw the horrible destruction on TV, I went out to my
flagpole and lowered my flag to half mast. |
The next morning was bright and
beautiful as though nothing had happened. (Here, that is.) It still waved over us. |
I took this picture of it still
waving proudly, but at half mast. I added the words that immediately came to my mind |
